About

Ida is a Registered Psychologist who offers warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed therapy grounded in genuine human connection.  She supports individuals through emotional challenges through an integrative and client-centred approach. 

Ida has varied experience in working with a range of mental health concerns including OCD, PTSD and Complex Trauma, Personality Disorders, Mood Disorders, Neurodivergence (e.g., Autism, ADHD), Eating Disorders, Chronic Health concerns, Grief and loss, relationship challenges, identity and life transitions.

Ida believes deeply in people’s capacity to heal, grow, and create meaningful change. Her work is guided by connection, collaboration, and kindness, and she is known for being warm, approachable, and authentic.

Ida is also a professional dancer and deeply values the mind-body connection. She believes that emotional wellbeing is not only cognitive but also lived and felt in the body. She encourages clients to develop awareness of how emotions show up in their body as part of therapy. 

With cultural awareness shaped by her own background, Ida offers sessions in both English and Hindi. She values integrated care, involving support systems where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Masters in Clinical Psychology, Australian Catholic University

  • Honours in Psychology, The University of Melbourne

  • Bachelors of Arts, with a major in psychology at The University of Melbourne
