Join our Clinical Team

Inner Eastern Psychology is a boutique and inclusive private practice based in two locations in Richmond.  Our practice is guided by the values of compassion, integrity, authenticity and inclusivity.

Our Practice Director, Yuedda Sio, is a Clinical Psychologist and a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor, who strives to be attuned to the needs of individuals within the team.  She wants to develop long-term, collaborative working relationships that are sustainable from emotional, ethical and business perspectives.  She has worked with a range of clinicians at different stages of their careers, and looks forward to hearing from you directly, whether you are interested in joining the team now or in the near future.

The practice offers a flexible, supportive yet autonomous working environment.  Regular peer supervision, clinical supervision, and professional development opportunities are available. There is a stable stream of referrals.  We have established administrative support as well as an efficient practice management program.  The practice rooms are calm and welcoming spaces with natural lighting.  There is an abundance of public transport options, shops, eateries and cafes nearby. Car park access can be discussed upon request.

Our clients come from a variety of referrers including local GPs, private psychiatrists, word of mouth, as well as self-referrals from online.  Our practice provides a broad range of evidence-based psychological services for adults and young persons, and seeks to work in a collaborative manner.

Opportunities

We are inviting psychologists to join our supportive and cohesive team.   The suitable clinician would be available at least for two days per week, with opportunities to build upon this.

The candidate clinician would ideally have capacity for independent private practice, which involves organisation, time and caseload management.  A motivated individual with an established record of teamwork and delivering quality, person-centred care will find themselves ‘right at home’ in our practice.

We would welcome a clinician with commitment to reflective practice demonstrated by ongoing professional development and regular clinical supervision.  Outstanding candidates would have the capacity to provide evidence-based treatments such as: CBT, ACT, Mindfulness-based therapies, DBT, EMDR, Trauma-focused therapies, or Schema Therapy etc.

Essential criteria include full registration with AHPRA, your own ABN, and indemnity insurance.  Clinical endorsement is preferable but not essential.
