About

Nicole is a Registered Psychologist and member of the Australian Psychology Society (MAPS).  She completed her Master of Professional Psychology from the University of Melbourne.

Nicole offers a warm, inclusive and compassionate presence, creating a non-judgemental, safe space where clients feel supported and empowered to explore, work through challenges, and achieve their goals.  Her practice is trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and client-centred.  She works collaboratively with clients to tailor effective, practical, and evidence-based therapeutic strategies that fosters meaningful change, growth and wellbeing.

Nicole is experienced supporting clients with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, trauma, complex trauma, health issues, adjustment challenges, burn out, emotional dysregulation (including anger), ADHD, interpersonal difficulties, self-esteem and life transitions.  Nicole has worked in private practice, community/not-for-profit, hospital, and higher education settings, providing assessment, individual therapy, and counselling across the lifespan.

Nicole has contributed to several international research clinical trials (randomised clinical trial) at the University of Melbourne (Phoenix Australia), exploring therapeutic interventions for adults experiencing PTSD, complex PTSD, and sleep disorders. She has also worked on research trials at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute investigating social and cognitive functioning in children with a genetic condition (NF1), autism, and ADHD.  

Before training as a psychologist, Nicole worked in sales and marketing, gaining valuable insight into different workplaces and life experiences. This background enriches her understanding of the challenges people face and complements her therapeutic practice.


Therapeutic Approaches

Nicole combines a person-centred and collaborative approach. She sees each person as unique and aims to support people’s capacity to improve their psychological wellbeing and make meaningful change for a greater sense of fulfilment. She brings values of connection, kindness, and authenticity to her practice.
